Person who coordinates, manages and supervises the activities of analysis, implementation, evolution, implementation, support and operational support of projects concerning complex, multi-site, hybrid and related to all sectors of the organization. He/She is an expert in her field of specialization.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, support and optimise Microsoft hybrid solutions to deliver high performance and high availability
  • Take technical ownership of greenfield cloud deployment in the Microsoft Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 cloud.
  • Administer and monitor Windows Server environments and VMware private cloud environments.
  • Design and manage Active Directory, policy enforcement.
  • Design and manage Azure AD hybrid identity strategy (Azure AD Connect, Dynamic Group Membership, Application Proxy)
  • Manage and oversee the use and the control of the SCCM & Endpoint Manager cloud co-management;
  • Manage and oversee the use and control of various cloud platforms such as MDM platforms (MEM & AirWatch/Workspace One, Apple Business Manager, ConnectWise Control)
  • Deploy, administer and monitor hybrid & cloud-based security systems (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure Sentinel & Apex Visio One)
  • Configure Windows Server services including DHCP, DNS, sites and services, domain controllers, certificates, DFS, Active Directory Schema, etc.;
  • Configuration and installation of VMware products including vCenter, ESX servers, virtual machines, etc.;
  • Supervise, coordinate additions and changes to multisite VMWare vSphere environment and ESx;
  • Perform routine security audits, system updates and cloud maintenance to preserve security compliance levels;
  • Monitor security, analyze threats and deploy tools, in collaboration with the security team;
  • Contribute to the development of internal procedures, processes and documentation.

Requested skills

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in computer science;
  • System administration certifications (MCSE, VMWare…) is an asset.

 

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

  • vCenter /vSphere (VMWare);
  • Solarwinds & monitoring;
  • Backup;
  • Firewall;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to analyse problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery;
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and influence diverse stakeholder groups;
  • Ability to understand and rigorously conform to various compliance, privacy and ownership policies related to information technology;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Ability to conduct an effective meeting;
  • Strong motivation and determination to produce results that meet the organization’s needs;
  • Able to establish priorities, managing own workload and work under pressure;
  • Capable of working/using own initiative with minimal supervision;
  • Knowledge of computer network, clinical, medico-administrative, administrative or business documentation projects is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Cree culture, health and social services in Eeyou Istchee is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the health network is considered as an asset.

 LANGUAGE

  • Fluent in English;
  • Fluency in Cree and/or French is an asset.
